Sandeep Kapoor, MD, MS-HPPL
Sandeep Kapoor, MD,MS-HPPL is faculty for medicine, emergency medicine, psychiatry, and science education at the Zucker School of Medicine at the Hofstra Northwell School of Graduate Nursing and Physician Assistant Studies. He serves as vice president of Emergency Medicine Addiction Services, director of Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT), and division head of Integrated Missions at Northwell Health. Dr. Kapoor has worked toward motivating interprofessional healthcare teams to rethink highly stigmatized health issues, such as substance use, firearm injury/violence, human trafficking, and pain care.
